Note: if the buyer arrives without an affiliate link, the 10% affiliate share becomes a bonus for the author (author receives 80%).
All calculations, balance records, and payouts — for both authors and affiliates — are in USD via PayPal.
Example calculation
Your book is priced at $10.00 and a buyer purchases it via PayPal:

Note: PayPal fees are absorbed by the platform from its 20% share — not deducted from your portion. If the purchase is without an affiliate, the 10% affiliate share goes to the author (so $8.00 = 80% gross).
Payout rules
- Payout currency: USD — transferred to your PayPal account.
- Schedule: on the 5th of each month, for all transactions from the previous month that have passed the 7-day cooling period.
- Cooling period: 7 days from successful transaction — during this window buyers can request refunds for technical issues.
- Minimum threshold: $5.00. If your available balance is below this, it carries over to the next month until the threshold is reached.
- Verified PayPal: your PayPal account must be verified to receive payouts.
- Holidays: if the 5th falls on a weekend or public holiday, payout is processed on the next business day.
Refunds & your balance
If a refund is approved for one of your books, the corresponding author earnings will be deducted from your balance. If the earnings were already in the available balance, they become a deduction from the next payout.

- PDF file hosting / storage — free while the book is active
- Organic marketing (SEO, category listing, search) — free
- PDF watermarking per purchase — free (included in platform commission)
- Preview generation (PDF + PNG gallery) — free
- Buyer support — free
Commission commitment
We are committed to maintaining a flat 20% platform commission for at least 24 months from launch (the 10% affiliate share is separate and only applies when a purchase is made via a referral link). After that, any changes will be notified at least 60 days in advance — books already sold before any change retain the old rate.
